Role overview

Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for the day to day functioning of AYCADO and ensures that the organization’s strategic priorities are effectively translated into coordinated operational activities.

Leadership focus

Maintaining effective operations, administrative systems, staff coordination and practical delivery across AYCADO’s activities.

Contribution to AYCADO

The Executive Director supports reliable organizational delivery by connecting approved priorities with efficient systems, procedures, logistics and reporting.

The Executive Director carries responsibility across the following areas of AYCADO’s work.

    Operations

    Oversee the daily operations of AYCADO and ensure that organizational activities are implemented efficiently.

  2. 02

    Internal Systems

    Maintain effective internal systems that support communication, coordination, accountability and organizational productivity.

  3. 03

    Administrative Structures

    Oversee administrative structures and ensure that organizational procedures support efficient delivery of programs and services.

  4. 04

    Staff Coordination

    Coordinate staff activities, departmental collaboration and operational responsibilities.

  5. 05

    Organizational Procedures

    Ensure that approved policies, procedures and internal standards are consistently followed.

  6. 06

    Program Implementation Logistics

    Coordinate operational requirements necessary for successful implementation of training programs, workshops, projects, events and other initiatives.

  7. 07

    Operational Efficiency

    Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions that improve efficiency, coordination and service delivery.

  8. 08

    Reporting

    Provide regular operational updates to the CEO and senior leadership concerning organizational activities, challenges, progress and priorities.
