Deputy Chief Executive Officer

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer supports the Founder and Chief Executive Officer in providing organizational leadership and ensuring that AYCADO’s departments, programs and strategic initiatives operate toward shared institutional objectives.

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer carries responsibility across the following areas of AYCADO’s work.

Executive Support
The DCEO supports the CEO in implementing organizational priorities and provides executive assistance in translating strategic decisions into practical institutional actions.

Departmental Coordination
The DCEO coordinates major departments and promotes effective communication between senior leaders so that programs, projects and operational activities remain aligned.

Strategic Implementation
The DCEO helps translate AYCADO’s strategic objectives into measurable actions, departmental priorities and organizational initiatives.

Operational Leadership
The DCEO provides senior level operational support and may assume delegated executive responsibilities when required.

Cross Department Collaboration
The DCEO promotes collaboration between programs, finance, administration, communications, partnerships, technology and other organizational functions.

Performance Coordination
The DCEO supports the monitoring of departmental performance and encourages accountability toward agreed organizational objectives.

Organizational Representation
The DCEO may represent AYCADO at meetings, events, institutional engagements and professional forums when delegated by the CEO.

Executive Continuity
The DCEO serves as the principal operational deputy to the CEO and helps maintain continuity of leadership across the organization.
