Who we serve
Recent graduates
Graduates preparing to enter the workplace and translate qualifications into employability.

Who they are
Understanding this group.
Recent graduates have completed a demanding qualification and are frequently told, in effect, that it is not enough. They are asked for experience they have not been given the chance to acquire, and for competencies that were never part of their assessment.
The period immediately after graduation is decisive and often wasted. Applications go unanswered, confidence falls, and the gap on a curriculum vitae grows. Structured preparation during these months changes both the outcome and the young person's sense of their own capability.
Developmental needs
- Employability capability
- The professional competencies employers assess but universities rarely teach.
- Credible application material
- Documents and interview performance that survive comparison with other candidates.
- Demonstrable experience
- Applied work, however modest, that provides evidence of contribution and reliability.
- Honest guidance
- Realistic advice on direction, expectations and what the labour market they are entering values.
How AYCADO supports them
Our support for this group.
AYCADO supports graduates with career readiness training, application and interview preparation, professional skills development, mentorship and structured practical work. The sequence is deliberate: capability first, then material, then assessment practice, then experience.
Support is available online as well as in person, so graduates who have returned home or moved for work can continue without interruption.
Skills and capabilities
What they develop with us.
- Professional conduct, communication and work management
- Application writing and interview performance
- Workplace ethics and professional judgement
- Digital competence for entry level professional roles
Practical experience
Doing real work.
Graduates take part in supervised project work and, where partnerships allow, structured placements. The purpose is to produce genuine evidence of applied work and a reference from someone who has supervised it.
Career development
Preparing for opportunity.
Career readiness work covers self assessment, targeting suitable roles, preparing application material, practising interviews and performing well in the first months of appointment. AYCADO does not promise employment, and does not pretend that preparation is the same as a job offer.
Mentorship and exposure
Guidance from others.
Mentorship provides calibration. A graduate who understands honestly how they compare, and what to do about it, makes far better decisions than one working from assumption and rejection letters.
